Lilly also loves to go up the neighbors stairs. I wouldn't mind it if our neighbor isn't so weird. None the less, I let her do it every time. I am just worried one day he is going to be home and he isn't going to like it. Oh well.

Sunn days make me feel good!
Lilly had to stay home from daycare because she was sick. Both Ben and I didn't see any signs of sickness other then a runny nose, but they said she has a fever. She might have but as soon as she was home she was good. So we got to spend the day together. Lilly first of all loves this skirt, she calls it her tutu, and what princess doesn't love a tutu! She also has a new love for sunglasses, can we say diva?!

Easter time!
Easter morning at our house tends to be very exciting for Lilly. Ben is wonderful and let me sleep in so I missed all the fun. Thank god for pictures! Lilly is on the hunt for her basket with the litle help from Daddy she spots it! She got lots of goodies in her basket, candy, sunglasses, headbands, and more candy! Lilly loved the candy.
Now the annual Roach family picture. Its also the first time I wore maternity clothes. Things just didn't fit right at 8 weeks, yup 8 weeks!

Here are a few pictures for Lilly's March! These pics are taken with my iPhone so not the best quality but they do. Lilly loves daycare she never wants to leave, its a good and a bad thing if you ask me. She loves it since all the ladies, and one man there are awesome! She talks about her friends all the time and to me that makes me happy knowing she is in such a great place. The bad is she doesn't want to get in the car and come home. Running on the porch is one of favorite past times.

One warm March weekend, Aunt Kate came over to visit. We all thought it would a good idea to head the YMCA playground. Its not a far walk so we visit it all we can. Of course Aunt Kate was willing to help Lil do more adventurous things then we do, but that's what aunts are for!
Lilly also got her first ride of a tire swing with some fellow playground goers. She loved it! I couldn't believe she liked it so much, I think it also was she got to do what the big kids where doing, that's my girl.

Oh and whats a trip to the playground without swinging. Lilly loves to swing and I think its great she likes to try the big girl swings but it also make me nervous too!

Snowpocalypse
Baltimore was hit hard with a total 24+ inches of snow starting Feb. 5th- Feb 6th and the second storm was Feb 9th-Feb. 10th. The snow was absolutely amazing and even though Lilly was still young, I hope she can remember how much snow we had. She was out of daycare for over a week, and even my school closed, which never happens!!
Overall Lilly wasn't to thrilled with the snow, it was cold and she especially didn't like it when it was still falling and in her face. She did like however walking around the neighborhood, since she was able to walk in the street! I guess it was a bad idea on my part since she still thinks sometimes its a good idea to walk in the street by herself. Oh well, I will know for next time!
Here are a few pictures from all the snow. The good, the bad and the ugly!

The first snowfall. See how it was splattered all over the houses across the street, it looked like it was something out of The Day After Tomorrow.
Ben shoveling in attempt to not have to shovel to much later!
Lilly enjoying the snow out back. She would only go where there was a clear path! I don't blame her it was a lot of snow and there was no way she could have walked in it.
After the second storm. It looked all calm and peaceful, but man it was a lot of snow!
And now for the ugly! We lost our back gutter and the awning that hung over Lilly's bedroom window. A ton of people on out street and neighborhood lost their metal awnings. We lucked out!

Happy Birthday Bean!
Lilly celebrated her 2nd birthday and wow I can't believe she is already 2! For her birthday Lilly celebrated with her friends at school, eating cupcakes and at home with some ravioli and more cupcakes!
She got a baby doll, more Dora stuff and a Cozy Coupe car from Nana and Papa. Everything she loves!

Here are a few pics from her birthday party! Lilly's lovely Aunt Kate worked hard on this Dora cake. She would probably kill me if she knew I posted this, since it didn't really turn out the way she wanted it, but Lilly loved it.
Here is the good shot of the tutu I made for Lilly. The Raven's also happened to be playing the same day as her party so we had to be dress appropriately in our purple!

Christmas Eve!
Wow I can't beleive its Christmas all ready! Where did the time go? Well this year I decided that I was going to host Christmas dinner. No idea really why I decided this but it did. It was a small gathering since Carter and Becca couldn't join us but it was fun. For dinner, we had pork chops with apples and stuffing, green beans and carrots, potatoes au gratin, and bread. Lilly naturally didn't want to have anything to do with dinner so I made her a hot dog. Just a few pics from dinner and Lilly going to bed before Santa arrives!
The spread. Ok so we don't have enough hot pads to we used the oven mitts! My mom might be so pleased with that one, but hey we thought we were resourceful.
Here is the table. I think my mom would be proud. I even used my silver!

The Night Before Christmas

Every night Ben and Lilly read The Night Before Christmas pop up book and did all the advent calendars in the house. It was such a great thing that they did together. I hope to make this a new tradition. It was also so great to see Lilly's eye light up when Ben would say, hey Lil guess what time it is, or Do you want to do calendars. I don't know how many times Ben read her this book, but she loved it every time!
Lilly loving daddy read her this book!
